The calling
“My work is raising new generation.”
Wostant Eyob, 2020
Wostant has worked as a training facilitator and project manager since 2013. He has trained thousands of leaders in Ethiopia, in government and private organizations, and today focuses on leadership, business and trauma healing. In 2020 he founded Team Paragon in Addis Ababa. Its first programs trained sub-city leaders in servant leadership, and he spent that year with youth leaders. The line he wrote then still describes the work.
Raising a new generation
His calling, in his own words: "My work is raising new generation." He began with youth leaders and servant-leadership training for government leaders in Addis Ababa.
A public voice on emotional intelligence
His public lecture series on emotional intelligence filled halls in Addis Ababa and Adama, and Team Paragon grew into a training firm.
Into the hardest places
As conflict left its mark, he led the team into trauma healing and psychosocial support: displaced families, former combatants and human-rights defenders.
A national partner
He coordinates the SAE Praxis Training Programme at Sophos Africa and leads programs for the Ministry of Justice, land administration and banks.

Peace-building
Conflict prevention, mitigation and transformation in conflict-affected areas, including Tigray, Amhara, Oromia, Benishangul and southern Ethiopia, combining modern conflict-resolution methods with traditional ones.

Leadership is not about lip service, it's life service.

We work on generations to see a new generation.
Change one at a time, then change nation.
To see the change we aspire, we must create a critical mass in society, and to do that we must focus on building the individual person.
As we are part of the problem, we are also part of the solution.
We require change engineers, change agents and change leaders.
Action speaks louder in leadership.
We need leaders who are changed.
Leadership is a combination of strategy and character.
The impact of leadership on an institution is like a stone thrown into a pond. The splash is immediate, but the ripples spread out for years.
